It cant take heavy fabric or lots of fabric with complicated chunky seams. This one is fun and easy to use, im going to buy four of them for the Spinster’s School of Stitchey, but also get some more heavy duty machines too. I intend to teach a vintage dress making class and i dont think this machine will quite cut it for that long term!

I really really want to buy this! I want to sew together a vintage dress from scratch and need a sewing machine! when they say it can’t take heavy materials what does that mean exactly.How heavy is heavy? I’m figuring not denim!lol..but not really sure.

I missed it! I went to the Northampton Easter Vintage and handmade fair.
Are there plans for another event?
