Today’s little bit of inspiration was inspired by the rare sunshine the sky has bestowed on us. I love flowers, i have even recently started flower pressing! It started last year while i was traveling across Thailand, i saw so many unique and beautiful variety’s native to the country, so i decided to collect them in my diary. I am not a flower snob, i like all types, i probably need to mention i know nothing about flowers, i care not for their names, as Juliet said “a rose by any other name would smell as sweet” so why complicate matters.
This week i also came across the Flower Appreciation Society , i gasped with joy as the name alone tricked me to believe that i could become a member of said clan without having to learn botany. The society is a mini collective of two ladies who studied illustration and textile design before embarking on there self professed quirky flower arrangements for contemporary special occasions. I love the flower head dresses!
These lovely little vintage floral stamps available to buy of Etsy caught my eye! If all letter came with stamps like theses even a council tax bill more bearable if only for a moment.
